Hands in Service is a ministry comprised of people willing to give of themselves in order to help others in the name of Jesus Christ. Our overall service footprint is on a global level, with much of our efforts taking place in our local community. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helps us embody our vision of “serving Christ by serving those in need.”
How to Get involved
Donation Distribution Center (Warrington)
The DDC is open to volunteers on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. Walk-in volunteering is welcome. This location is where most of our products are distributed from, so there is a wide variety of tasks available. Testing appliances, sorting and processing clothing and other donations are two of the major activities that our volunteers are involved in. Most tasks can be done while sitting down. The DDC is located at 125 Titus Ave, Warrington, Pa (go to the back of the building, look for the door labeled Hands in Service).
Common Good (Telford)
Common Good is Hands in Service’s outlet to the community as a place where community members can be referred to receive everyday necessities. Volunteering for Common Good is open every Wednesday from 8 am to 12 pm.

There are two ways to get involved at Common Good:
First Thursday Volunteer Nights
On the first Thursday of every month, we host a night for volunteers to come join us at Common Good for an evening of service. The time is from 6 – 8:30 pm and typically involve testing appliances and processing clothing. There is no need to RSVP and we hope to see you there!
Check our social media or newsletter to see if First Thursday is still on.
Missions Trips
We would love to have you join us on one of our upcoming trips! Please visit the missions page for more information. Contact Mary for more information ([email protected]).
Group Volunteering
If you are interested in bringing a work, school, youth or church group, we can schedule this outside of normal volunteering days/hours. Please contact Stefani to work on scheduling this ([email protected] or 267-450-3220).
School or Court-Mandated Community Service
If you are in need of completing your court-mandated service hours or need to volunteer for school, we would love to have you during our regular volunteering hours. With the successful completion of your hours, we will supply a letter certifying your service with us. Contact Stefani if you will need a letter after your time with us.
