About Common Good
Common Good is located in Telford, Pennsylvania and is an extension of Hands In Service. This location is designed for local churches, agencies and public service organizations to send individuals in immediate need of basic living items. We offer a private setting where referred individuals can enter a safe and peaceful environment. Designed much like a boutique, our guests can select new items from our showroom to help meet some of their basic living needs, while providing an environment that offers dignity and respect to our guests. With each visit our hosts will offer an opportunity to pray for the individual and their family prior to them leaving.
who do we serve?
Common Good is open to referrals from participating organizations affiliated with Hands In Service. Our guests include individuals and families temporarily having a difficult time making ends meet. This would include those transitioning from homelessness, addiction rehabilitation centers, prison transition programs and conditions associated with an abusive environment. We also invite those impacted by natural disasters, such as hurricanes and floods, as well as victims of fire. Most recently we have been blessed with the opportunity to assist many Ukrainian refugee families seeking safety here in our communities. Though the conditions mentioned here represent our most common visitors, this is not an all inclusive list of those we serve. Many of our guests are individuals going through financial challenges, needing a helping hand with homegoods and other basic necessities.
How to Support Common Good
Your financial donations to Common Good will be used to sponsor individuals coming through our showroom who will benefit by taking home new merchandise to meet their basic needs.
