Thank you to everyone who has supported the Ministry we have been working with in the Dominican Republic.
In September, our first missions team in two years went to the Dominican Republic! About 500 patients were seen by the team throughout the week. Here is a message from Mary regarding the trips circumstances: "When we arrived in Punta Cana with nine 50 lb. suit cases filled with medications, bandages, and evangelism supplies, we did not expect customs to confiscate them all. Our paperwork was in order, but during the last two years, the government changed and so did one step in the process. We missed that step. We had been anxious about the possibility of losing all of our supplies for many years, but God again taught us Philippians 4:6: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
God made it possible to serve his people all week and still have boxes of medications and supplies left over. We felt like we had witnessed a fishes and loaves situation! After six weeks, customs released all of the full suitcases to Dr. Gerald and Pastor Isidro so that they can use all those medications and supplies in medical clinic outreach efforts with church volunteers in the bateyes. Praise God for continuing to teach us about trusting him for all things and for all things and for allowing us to serve in awe yet again."
