From January 23rd until January 30th, 2027, we will be taking a medical evangelism team to serve along side of Pastor Isidro Mejia and Casa de Restauración, 6TA Iglesia Metodista Libre, La Romana. As in the past, we will offer primary medical care, physical therapy, vaccines, and of course Christian evangelism.
If you are interested in joining this team, please email [email protected] and request the agenda from the information meeting that was held in July, an application and a code of conduct form. The registration fee is $250 and it is due with the forms by our first team meeting on August 27,2026.
We also plan to send teams to the DR in April 2027 and in November, pending budgetary approval, so if you can't go in January, perhaps you will be able to join another team in 2027.
We are also seeking future volunteer team leaders that have medical licensure that includes prescribing rights and are willing to be trained for HIS Medical team leadership. Future leaders will be asked to lead one team per year, and the cost of your trip each year will be covered. Please pray about whether or not you are called to serve in this way.
